- Our Story

The Art Collective Fair SG is a curated, artist-led boutique art fair created to make original art more accessible, personal, and meaningful for today’s art buyers while connecting directly with the artist. Following the strong success of its inaugural edition in September 2025, the fair now moves confidently into its second edition, reinforcing its position as a distinctive platform within Singapore’s contemporary art landscape.

Founded and curated by artist Michelle Schulz, the Art Collective Fair SG was conceived as a refreshing alternative to large-scale commercial art fairs. The focus is on the connection between artists and collectors, art and interiors, creativity and everyday life. Each edition brings together a carefully selected group of independent artists, presenting original artworks, limited-edition prints, and thoughtfully designed art objects, all available to buy directly from the creators themselves, at truly affordable prices.

A Proven Concept, Now in Its Second Edition

The first edition, held in a heritage shophouse in Joo Chiat, exceeded expectations. The event attracted a diverse audience of first-time art buyers, seasoned collectors, interior designers, and local creatives, many of whom were drawn to the fair’s relaxed atmosphere and approachable format. Visitors spent time speaking directly with artists, learning the stories behind the works, and confidently purchasing art or commissioning pieces that resonated on a personal level.

The success of the inaugural fair confirmed a clear appetite in Singapore for a boutique, well-curated art experience, one that removes intimidation from art buying while maintaining high artistic quality.
